This post is for all of the Zumba instructors who wonder how to market their Zumba classes.  Zumba is just like any other business because advertising can lead to increased class sizes and more revenue for your Zumba business.  Many of the Zumba instructors we talk to are very excited about the classes they offer and have special things they do to make their class a little different.  Excitement about what you have to offer is a key ingredient because your excitement can be contagious to others.  Excitement alone can not grow your business.

I don’t care how excited you are about your new Zumba classes if no one knows who you are, where the classes are, and what is being offered you might find growth a little slow. If you want to grow your Zumba classes start with word of mouth.  Get people around you excited about what you are doing and make sure they tell others.  Word of mouth is free and a very effective way of getting new members.  Advertising and marketing your Zumba classes can not stop there.  All of these people that you excite need to have some type of marketing material in hand to give out to others.  The marketing material at minimum should be a business card listing information on how to contact you… the Zumba instructor professional.  Sure you can spend 10 dollars on one of the suggested business card websites and buy something just like all of the other Zumba instructors have.  Another option is to print out cards on your home computer.  Either way it will get your name in a potential member’s hand in the same boring way others do.  More effectively would be a professionally designed business card printed on high quality card stock with a perfect finish and proper message.  Here at 509 Media we offer these services for a very affordable price.  1000 business cards normally run 60 dollars plus design and shipping.
