dsc_1258Courtney’s Studio is a Dothan, Alabama Zumba Fitness studio featuring a 10,000 sq ft facility located on Ross Clark Circle.  509 Media has been working with the Courtney’s Studio to create a studio logo design, business cards, banners, and other media to assist in creating brand identity for the studio and promote their Zumba Fitness classes.  Effective marketing materials can benefit your company by offering a polished public appearance.  In today’s economy it is very important to market toward consumer confidence.

The Courtney’s Studio Zumba Fitness banner was designed to look like the business card layout I recently completed for them.  The banner showcases the Zumba Fitness logo as well as Courtney’s Studio logo.  The banner is a smaller banner at 2 feet tall by 5 feet wide.  Banners like these can be made in quantity to place around town in key market areas.  The banner is printed on a durable weatherproof 13 oz vinyl banner.

Business Card Design for The Jerky Hut

Friday, October 15th, 2010

Want good jerky?  Don’t want to get jerked around with crazy prices?  Then check out www.yummyjerky.com for great jerky at reasonable prices. The Jerky Hut can be found attending country fairs, seafood festivals, and other events around the southeast as well as on their website.  To carry their branding theme across multiple forms of advertising 509 Media has assisted by creating full color yard signs, iPhone Skins, and now business cards.businesscards_jerky_hut

The Jerky Hut business cards were printed on high quality 16 pt card stock for a heavy durable feel. The back side of the business card which features the logo design and website address received a UV coating to make it shine.  The information side of the card did not to keep a matte finish.  No UV coating was applied to allow notes to be written on the card if needed.  This business card project was a long run order with over 10,000 business cards being printed.

If you need a custom business card designer… Be sure to contact 509 Media.  We can design, print, and ship custom business cards to your door for cheaper than you might think.

QR Code Spyder Offroad Business Cards

Friday, October 15th, 2010

What is a QR Code?

A QR Code is a two dimensional matrix bar code.  The creator of the code intended for a “Quick Response” when reading the code.  QR Code readers are now available on most smart phones.  You can use specific apps to read them.  I use Google Goggles to read QR Codes as well as other bar codes.

Why use a QR Code?

QR Codes are a simple fast way to gather contact information into your smart phone.  If someone hands you a business card with a QR code simply scan the code and import the information directly into your phone.  No need to type the information.

business_cards_spyder_offroadSpyder Off-Road contacted 509 Media to design a business card using their existing logo design.  After a short phone conversation it was decided to go with spot UV on the business card design to add dimension and extra flare to the business card layout. Spot UV is a process which defines what areas on the business cards will be matte finish and what areas will shine.  In the case of the Spyder Off-Road business cards we have the logo and spiderweb on one side of the card defined for spot UV, and on the opposite side of the business card the logo and spider are defined for spot uv.  In the image attached we have the spot areas of the card show as a gray color.  The gray will not be printed. Only the UV coating will be applied in these areas.

Madhouse Fabrication Banner

Thursday, October 14th, 2010

madhouse_banner

A while back 509 Media designed a new company logo for Madhouse Fabrication.  The banner we printed matches the look of the business cards we also printed for Madhouse Fab.  Banners like this one can be very effective advertising a business’s goods and services.  The banners are easy to hang and can be moved to different areas to test market response.  I have a few clients who place them around town in places where they have permission to direct customers back to there store.  Smaller banners like these are effective in political campaign marketing as well.

Heard Magnet School Yard Signs

Tuesday, October 12th, 2010

heard_magnet_school_yardsign2Everyone has seen the political yard signs on every street corner across this land.  Yard signs are a great way to show your support for someone running for political office, and even better showing support for your child doing well in school.  Heard Magnet School asked if we could put together a full color yard sign for the “Star Readers” of Heard Magnet School.  Of course we answered the call by designing and printing full color 18×24 inch yard signs on coroplast.

The PTO of the school asked that we produce the sign to reflect other diving and underwater themed items them have at the school this year.  In keeping with the theme we utilized a stock image to save time and keep the cost of the project to a minimum.  The stock image was modified to fit the size requirements.

If you are in need of yard signs to advertise 509 Media has a very low minimum order of 4 signs.  Of better price breaks start at 10 yard signs.  Be sure to contact us for more details.

QR Codes for Collective Contact Info

Saturday, October 2nd, 2010

Over the past few years the Apple iPhone has changed the way many of us do business.  You may not own an iPhone, but other smart phones like the Motorola Droid X have followed suit with many apps of their own.  One App or function I would like to point out is the ability to read bar codes.  At first glance many might consider this a function to check prices at their favorite department store.

In most cases I have done the due diligence needed to make a purchase when I head out to make a purchase.  So the need for a bar code scanner might be less needed.  I will point out I have used it to catalog something in my smart phone so I can read more about it when I have time.
