Southern Shenanigans DVD Artwork

sample1-mail

Busted Knuckle Films contacted 509 Media to layout the graphic design for their Southern Shenanigans DVD which was released this month just in time for Christmas.  I had a friend Jeremy help on this project due to the time frame and the current work load we have.  Jeremy did a great job on this project allowing us to close the project before the deadline.

dvd_face-printThe DVD insert and DVD insert were designed using Adobe Photoshop.  Once we got into the project we noticed the logo Busted Knuckle Films was used by another company.  After a quick discussion we contacted BK Films to let them know about the issue.  Jeremy reworked the logo design to loose the clip art fist used on the original logo design.  The end result is a more realistic looking fist on the logo.

509 Media is not involved in the filming, production, editing, or distribution of the DVD.  If you need DVD artwork and / or DVD duplications made be sure to contact 509 Media.

  1. These turned out SICK. Thanks Again guys.

  2. No worries Matt. Send me a copy of the DVD when you get a chance. I guess I can wait for the 1000 copies we are about to make for you.

Once you get the DVDs back from production you need to contact Impact Video about selling them for you.

    Dan

  3. Email me your address and Ill send you one of the preorder copies.

  4. Matt,

I was only giving you a hard time. I will send over the address if you want to kick over a dvd. Might make for some good holiday viewing. Did you ever get the files over to Jeremy so we can get the 1000 copies of the DVD banged out?

Are you getting good reviews on the DVD so far?

  5. Jeremy has all the files I am just waiting for him to send it all back to me in the format the duplicator needs and send it all in.

I got my first review today from our local off road forum:

Ok, just got the DVD in the mail today, checked it out, here's what I think:

    What I didn't like:
    really, nothing comes to mind...

    What I liked:
The volume of rigs to music ratio was perfect
The music set the mood just right too
The scene layout/order actually gets your adrenaline going while you sit on the couch drinking beer
I recognize most of the rigs and events and parks
Clips from the same trip are broken up just enough to where it doesn't feel like a documentary of a single trip, but actually blends into a conglomeration of awesome
The commentary adds to the clips, doesn't seem overbearing or annoying

    What I want more of:
Kel's commentary, his cinematography is just awesome!
Shenanigans, we should all have cameramen when we do the stupid stuff we all do regularly!
    Big air!
    Carnage!
The still photos added in were bad A$$, you could get away with even more of that!

So, in short, this movie kicks A$$, and if you haven't bought one yet, I feel sorry for you, you're missing out. I wanna watch it again!

    Anyone else seen it yet?
