Morris Mountain Offroad Park Logo / Stickers

Morris Mountain ORV

If you are into rock crawling and live in the south then you have heard of Morris Mountain Offroad Park. Randy Morris has a great park and wants everyone to have a great time. If you have not had a chance to visit the park I encourage you to make the trip over. It is located just outside of Birmingham, Alabama. Randy wanted some decals printed for the park. We ran them in a couple different colors. If you want a Morris Mountain sticker be sure to let them know Dan at 509 Media sent you.

I should point out we also did the logo pictured. The design needed to be a peel a stick design. The design could easily be used as a company logo for the park. If your business needs some decals printed be sure to contact 509 Media.

4×4 Oil Logo Design

Dirk from 4×4 Oil contacted me in regard to a logo. The 4×4 Oil logo needed to drive people back to his website and create a brand identity for the company. This project was done about 4 years ago. I have made a couple minor changes to the logo over this time, but the over all look has remained constant. Once you create a logo you are creating a brand, and it is important to build from the look.

The 4x4Oil logo is simple and gets the point across.

WabFab Tailgate Wrap

WabFab… Let the Wabbit Fab It!!! That slogan always makes me laugh. I don’t mean laughing at the company and the slogan, but laughing because you can’t help to be in a good mood saying that slogan. WabFab has been a long time friend and customer. I have been printing stickers for them for a few years now. Be sure to check out their website.

WabFab saw a tailgate wrap I did for one of the Blue Torch FabWorks trucks, and wanted one to help advertise their business. Tailgate wraps are a very inexpensive way to get a huge amount of advertising impressions. Sitting at a traffic light you have a captive audience sitting right behind you. If you make the tailgate wrap interesting to view and effective at getting your message across then you are increasing the visibility of your brand.

A tailgate wrap is printed on high quality vehicle wrap vinyl. If you paint is in good condition the wrap will not harm the paint. The vinyl is a high tech material with pressure sensitive adhesive. The vinyl has small channels on the backside to allow air to escape when being installed. The wrap can be installed at home, but I do recommend letting a professional installer lay the vinyl. If you decide to install the wrap yourself there are a number of how to videos on YouTube that show how to install a wrap.

In most cases we use 3M cv3 vinyl and laminate after printing to protect the ink. We can print full color so if you have a picture in the artwork we can do it. See a couple of the examples below. Please contact us for pricing. Basic tailgate wraps will range from 100 – 250 dollars which includes a very basic art fee. For custom designs requiring more time an additional art fee will be applied.

Logo Creation for Dragoon Offroad

Dragoon Offroad contacted 509 Media to have a logo created to represent their new company. The name Dragoon has a historical meaning and they wanted to include some history in the logo. A quick Google search of Dragoon will show the meaning behind the name.

The logo needed to be able to laser cut into steel plate. It also needed to have an appealing look and feel for use on clothing. The logo can be used with out the dragon if needed.

This project also required the logo to be digitized for embroidery. We converted the logo and now have it ready for use on hats, work shirts, or what ever the client wants to put it on. When digitizing a file you have to first determine what size it needs to be. In other words if you digitize a file for use on a shirt pocket you can not scale the same file to fit the rear of a jacket. A new larger digitized file would need to be created. The logo to the left if the original artwork. I will post a picture of the file embroidered below. If you notice the embroidered copy drops the gradient shown in the original logo. This was done to make the logo easier to read when embroidered and to help keep stitching cost down.

We are not done with this project. Decals and other items will be printed as soon as the customer gets ready for them. I will update the post as we add to the project.
