Isuzu Box Truck Wrap for Hornsby Tire

Friday, May 28th, 2010

dsc_0501Vehicle wraps are a great way to advertise your business and more importantly establish your brand.  If you have fleet vehicles on the road why not make use of the adverting space to promote your goods or services.  Considering the number of advertising impressions a vehicle wrap gets over the life of the wrap the cost is way more affordable than traditional means of advertising.  The graphic design elements of a vehicle wrap can incorporate many different things, but should remain simple enough to sell your brand and products.  Making an impact on a potential customer with a positive professional message increases the chance they will recall your name at a later time. If a customer is unable to recall your name they will have a difficult time finding you.

Hornsby Tire Distributors sells wholesale to Dothan, AL and surrounding area tire stores.  The company has a new set of owners who understand the value of utilizing the space on their fleet vehicles.  Hornsby Tire may not sell to the direct consumer but a vehicle wrap in their case can help make tire store owners aware they are in the area.  Rather than having a white truck backing up to their customer’s door day after day a wrapped truck will be backing up to the door with their name and service boldly stated.  I can not stress enough how important it is for any company to keep their brand in front of people and to build relationships.  If your company offers a quality product with your name attached it increases recall when that person needs your goods or services.

The vehicle wrap on the Isuzu Box Truck was designed using Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator.  The tires used as the background images was created from a single tire image from Yokohama Tire.  The image was repeated to cover the side of the vehicle wrap.  The vinyl used on this project was 3M CV3 with a luster finish over laminate.  The wrap was printed on our 64 inch Mutoh printer.  Each side of the Isuzu Box truck consists of four large panels that were installed kind of like wall paper.  Each panel has a predetermined overlap so the image can easily be aligned during the wrap install.  The rear roll up door has two vertical panels.

509 Media is in the business of designing vehicle wraps, printing, and installing if needed.  If you are not close to our location we can design and print a wrap to ship to you.  If you do not want to install the wrap we can arrange for someone in your area to install the graphics.  It is our goal to help you build your business through solid marketing tools.  If you have questions be sure to ask.  We are here to serve.

Full Truck Wraps for Servpro

Friday, February 26th, 2010

servpro_wrap

509 Media and crew spent the weekend banging out two full vehicle wraps for Servpro.  The install process took all weekend but we got them done on time.  The rear bumpers and tail lights on both trucks were removed to allow better access for the install on the rear corners.  We also removed the side mirrors, and door handles for a cleaner install.  After the wrap was installed the lights, bumper, and door handles were reinstalled on the trucks.

The graphics were printed on 3M CV3 and laminated.  After the wraps were installed reflective vinyl featuring the Servpro company logo was placed on the doors, hood, and tailgate. Wrapping fleet vehicles like the Servpro trucks can have long term benefits to the company’s bottom line.  When the business owner decides to sell the truck the wrap can be removed without decreasing resell value of the truck.  Not to mention a fully wrapped truck help preserve company image effectively advertising the company.

Tailgate Wraps For Your Truck Or SUV

Tailgate Wrap

Over the past few years I have printed a few tailgate wraps to advertise my own business. During which a few friends and customers have asked me to design tailgate wraps for their trucks. A tailgate wrap is referring to wrapping ONLY the tailgate of a pickup or SUV. This is a very cost effective way to advertise your company and keep the cost way down.

Typically a tailgate wrap can be purchased and installed for under $250 dollars. The price has a lot to do with how much time is spent on the design. In other words if you want a complicated design then the price will reflect the added time needed to complete the project.

I would like to point out you do not have to use this to only advertise a business. If you want a custom scene on the tailgate just for the purpose of adding some style and color to your truck then we can do mix it up for you.

If you would like to get started on a tailgate wrap be sure to CONTACT 509 Media for details.

I have done tailgate wraps for Chevy, Dodge, Ford, and Toyota trucks. If I do not have a template for your truck I can make one very easily.

Do It Right Lawn Care Truck Wrap

Do It Right Lawn Care based out of Dothan, Alabama recently contacted me about wrapping a “new to them” truck to advertise their business.  After discussing the many options from plain vinyl cut lettering to a full vinyl wrap it was clear a wrap was the direction we would take.  The owner of the company is a long time friend of mine.  I suggested to him a few ways to use the wrap to make money and keep over all cost down.

On the bottom 1/3 of the wrap I suggested he sell advertising space.  The truck is highly visible around town and the space does have value.  I broke the ad area up into three sections.  The large ad space would sell for more than the smaller ones.  I told him to go out and talk to people he knows about buying the ad space on a one year agreement.  So far he has two of the ad spaces sold and the wrap cost nearly covered.  If the advertiser decides not to renew we can simply put a new ad over the old one. This is a creative way to wrap your company vehicle and save on your advertising budget.  If you decide to do this make certain the advertiser does not overpower your message.  After all you are wanting to spread the word about your company to increase your bottom line.  This option may not be right for all companies.

The design of this wrap has purpose.  The Do It Right Lawn  Care section was placed high and bold on the truck side.  When parked in a parking lot with cars next to the truck the wrap will still be clearly seen.  After all the main purpose of this vehicle wrap is to Advertise Do It Right Lawn Care.  The Do It Right banner covers the entire side panel of the truck to make it very easy to read from a long distance.

UPDATE:

The wrap was installed yesterday.  Over all the project turned out great.  We are going to print a wrap for the front part of the box on the truck.  In the beginning the owner did not want to wrap it to keep the project cost a little lower.  After the installation was completed the owner decided to move forward.

We will be printing the advertisements for the side of the truck over the next couple of weeks.  Three ads will be placed on each side of the truck.  I will update the post once the ads are installed.
