WabFab… Let the Wabbit Fab It!!! That slogan always makes me laugh. I don’t mean laughing at the company and the slogan, but laughing because you can’t help to be in a good mood saying that slogan. WabFab has been a long time friend and customer. I have been printing stickers for them for a few years now. Be sure to check out their website.
WabFab saw a tailgate wrap I did for one of the Blue Torch FabWorks trucks, and wanted one to help advertise their business. Tailgate wraps are a very inexpensive way to get a huge amount of advertising impressions. Sitting at a traffic light you have a captive audience sitting right behind you. If you make the tailgate wrap interesting to view and effective at getting your message across then you are increasing the visibility of your brand.
A tailgate wrap is printed on high quality vehicle wrap vinyl. If you paint is in good condition the wrap will not harm the paint. The vinyl is a high tech material with pressure sensitive adhesive. The vinyl has small channels on the backside to allow air to escape when being installed. The wrap can be installed at home, but I do recommend letting a professional installer lay the vinyl. If you decide to install the wrap yourself there are a number of how to videos on YouTube that show how to install a wrap. In most cases we use 3M cv3 vinyl and laminate after printing to protect the ink. We can print full color so if you have a picture in the artwork we can do it. See a couple of the examples below. Please contact us for pricing. Basic tailgate wraps will range from 100 – 250 dollars which includes a very basic art fee. For custom designs requiring more time an additional art fee will be applied.

I was there the day you layed that wrap down. And have been wanting one for the hood of my trail truck to represent my offroad club. Ill be after one soon!
Looks great Dan. Hmmm you have the pattern for my truck now too. Mine is a lease though so it would go back in seven months. Wonder if it’s worth it
Mike, for the number of advertising impressions gained in 7 months I think it would be a good investment. We are not talking about a lot of dollars. Let me know if you want to bang something out.
Dan
I was driving around one Saturday morning early headed to Lowe’s with my boys and noticed I had a fresh voicemail on my phone. We got to Lowe’s so I checked the voicemail, figuring it was my wife who had called while me and the boys were jamming out to some AC/DC, but it was a young woman’s voice who had been following us to Lowe’s who was curious about the pictures on the tailgate of my truck. She said it looked great even if she didn’t like off-road stuff or Toyotas. I have been called driving down the road on more than one occasion already by Toyota enthusiasts wanting to mod their trucks but this call sealed it for me on confirming my decision to get a wrap. A nice paintjob is just that…a nice paintjob. But if you want folks to take notice of your truck and your business get a wrap. I get comments on it just about everyday around town.
Thanks for the great job Dan!!!
Sweet, a tailgate wrap is a very effective way to advertise a business for very little money. The number of advertising impressions you will get over the life of the wrap will be way up there. I read somewhere the average vehicle wrap gets roughly 9 million views per year!
I noticed a few people finding this post via the search engines. If you are interested in a wrap for the tailgate of your truck be sure to contact me. I can do custom designed artwork, or design it to reflect your company. Let me know if I can help.
